Juvederm

Juvederm is the most common lip filler. It’s an injectable filler that reduces folds, wrinkles, and lines by filling in the space where the line has formed, as well as plumping lips and filling depressions in the skin.

Juvederm is made with hyaluronic acid, which occurs naturally, so there is no risk of rejection. It takes about 9-10 months for your body to naturally absorb Juvederm, but some patients have results that last a year or longer.

Hyaluronic acid is an excellent filler, but traditionally had the problem of being absorbed by the body in a matter of hours or days. Juvederm solves that problem by specially cross-linking the hyaluronic acid to slow the absorption rate.

The resulting cross-linked gel is safe, stable, and lasts up to a year in some applications. The gel is very easy to inject, is nearly painless, and has immediate results.
