Volbella

Volbella is part of the Juvederm family of fillers. It is a special formulation of Juvederm that is meant to be used in the lips and lip area.

Volbella lasts about one year after injection, and is safe to use in combination with other fillers.

How Volbella Works

Volbella is a hyaluronic acid blend that has a lower viscosity than Juvederm XC (it’s thinner), so it can be used in the lips with less pressure. This makes it easier on both the patient and the injector, and significantly increases patient comfort during treatment. The result is a soft, full lip structure that feels natural.

Volbella also has lidocaine in it, which means more comfort during the procedure and less swelling after the procedure. This is great for patients that may have been sensitive to Juvederm XC in the lip, as the addition of lidocaine will result in considerably less discomfort.

Volbella is safe to combine with other treatments, and is often accompanied by other injectables like Botox or Voluma, and can also be combined with laser treatments to help generate collagen in the area being treated. Because there is no downtime associated with Volbella, you can immediately resume your normal activities.

Volbella Treatment Areas

Volbella can be used in the lips for volume and contour, around the lips for “smoker’s lines,” and in the lip/chin “marionette lines.” Volbella can be used to smooth and contour these areas, as well as add an extra bit of projection and fullness to lips.

Volbella Cost

Volbella is sold in .55ml syringes, and the first syringe is $400. Additional syringes are $300, and you can bring a friend in and split the discount if you like. Want to learn more?
